How to Film

​

The iPads (which are located in the iPad cart) are what we normally use to film.  The iPad cart is stored next to the 3D printers.

How to Connect Mic

The microphone connects to the iPad via the audiojack.  Simply plug in the microphone to the iPad.

​

Usually the microphone is on the desk in front of the green screen (or in the general filming area).

How to upload to iMac computers

​

You can airdrop from the iPads to the iMacs in the makerspace.  Simply turn on airdrop on both devices (swipe up on the ipad to see this option and use the search tool on iMac).

Once both airdrops are turned on then select the airdrop tool on the iPad and airdrop the video you want onto the iMac.

How to use green screen

​

Upload your video to iMovie and drop the clip you want into the video editing section. 

Drag the image/video that you want to be the background into the video editing section and place it directly above or below the original video clip.

​

Then select the cutaway tool (located in the upper right hand corner) and change it to 'green/blue screen'.

​
